The Red Review

So Many Books… So Little Time!

by Kristi Ann Hunter

Rating: 4 out of 5.

“What if he wasn’t actually in love with her? What if he was only infatuated with her incredible beauty? What if his logical brain was obsessed with figuring out the intrigue around her, and once the mystery was solved she would lose the grip she appeared to have on him?”

An Inconvenient Beauty

Again, I did not read the first book of the series first (seems to be a trend 😂), but halfway through the book, I realized my error and bought the remaining books… not because the story needed it, but because it was so good!

Duke Griffith Riverton reminds me of myself. I have often found myself thinking, “Do not make a mistake” instead of allowing myself to fully experience life, similarly to how the duke goes through his life. By trying to perfectly calculate his life, Griffith, unbeknown to himself, is unhappy and unfulfilled. But when the intriguing Isabella enters his life, she is the exact opposite of his “wife list”, but could that be exactly what he needs?

The book brought up the question that many Christian singles ask, “Does God chose for you who to marry, or does he give you free choice?” I have heard arguments for both sides, but I agree with the answer Kristi Ann Hunter supplies in the book. You’ll just have to read the book to figure out what it is 😉…

Red Review: ❤️❤️❤️❤️
*** 4 Stars: Compelling Characters, Well-Written, Interesting Storyline, Desire to Re-Read

“He’d let her drive him crazy every day because his reward would be her smile, her laugh.”
